Rayon, a browser-based drawing software platform for interior designers, has raised €10 million in Series A funding to further develop its platform and expand its go-to-market activities. The round was led by Partech, with continued backing from existing investors Northzone, Foundamental and Seedcamp. The Series A brings Rayon's total funding to nearly €16 million.
Rayon is designed specifically for interior and experiential projects, providing an alternative to drawing software originally developed for architecture and engineering. Users can import PDFs, images and DWG plans, create custom libraries of components and work on projects from feasibility through to execution within the browser.
The platform brings drawings and project data into the same environment, allowing plans, styling, specifications and schedules to remain connected. Changes made to a drawing can therefore be reflected in its specifications, while teams can work simultaneously on the same project and share drawings through a link rather than exporting them.

The company is now expanding the platform with AI and 3D capabilities. Its approach integrates AI directly into the drawing layer, with the aim of keeping generated content editable and connected to the wider project.

Existing AI features include a floor plan vectoriser that converts scanned or photographed plans into editable drawings containing elements such as walls, openings and zones, as well as a tool that generates blocks from photographs. The company has also released a mobile-first application, a presentation mode for editing and sharing drawings with clients, and an expanded template library.
With the new funding, Rayon plans to launch 3D capabilities, integrate AI further into the design experience and scale its go-to-market operations. Its V4 release, expected before the end of the year, will introduce a broader suite of AI capabilities alongside 3D.
