Brussels-based PaxFamilia raises €1.4 million, seeks to become Europe’s WealthTech leader

GuiSquare, the company behind wealth planning platform PaxFamilia has completed a €1.4 million found round in their efforts to become the de-facto choice when it comes to wealth planning.

The round was led by the family of Arnoud de Pret Roose de Calesberg and BNP Paribas Fortis.

“This partnership allows us to enrich the way of our clients towards digital wealth management," comments BNP Paribas Fortis’ Stéphane Vermeire. "Thanks to its dynamic, flexible, and secure tools, PaxFamilia meets our needs in wealth planning.”

The new funding is expected to propel further deployment of the PaxFamilia offering with the goal of making it the reference wealth planning interface for all financial advisors in the Benelux and French markets.

PaxFamilia was launched in 2018 and now counts over 18,000 European families utilising the service via their advisors. The company managed break-even numbers in 2020, and has 21 team members.

"This new fundraising will allow us to continue to invest in the development of our platform and to accelerate our growth by offering our functionalities to a wider spectrum of advisors in order to increase the convenience for our user families," comments GuiSquare co-founder and CEO Guillaume Desclée.
