German startup jumingo gets €1 million to expand its e-commerce shipping platform

German startup jumingo, a digital mail order marketplace, has raised around €1 million from German angel investors, led by Tim Schumacher (TS Ventures) with continued support from previous investors Ryan Hood and Arno Nonnen. Jumingo digitises shipping services, connecting e-commerce shops, marketplaces and management tools to one network of shipping providers. The company reports that over 100,000 online retailers, shops, and SMEs have used the service to track orders, shipments, and invoices. Based in Bergisch Gladbach, the e-commerce logistics platform was founded by Sascha Goldstein and Kai Kleuser in 2017. The new funding will accelerate expansion into other European countries. To expand its same-day and direct-to-customer delivery services, the company will partner with more international carriers, as well as many regional and specialized couriers within Germany.
