Brussels, Belgium-based Nodalview, which enables real estate agents to shoot high-quality pictures and videos of properties, has raised a $4.1 million Series A round of financing. The round was led by London-based PROfounders, with participation from Madrid-based K Fund and prior backer Volta Ventures, which invested €1.7 million in an earlier seed round.
Nodalview's solution, which it says has been adopted by over 10.000 real estate agents to date, enables its customers to shoot and build professional quality pictures, 360° virtual tours and videos of properties, as visual experiences become ever more important in the real estate marketing value chain.
Needless to say, the coronavirus pandemic has helped boost demand for digital tools in this sector, and it has helped the Belgian startup expand far beyond its home country, with 80% of its revenue already coming from outside its home country.
Thomas Lepelaars, co-founder and CEO of Nodalview, commented: "The real estate industry is evolving to a more digitized and connected ecosystem with high expectations on customer experience. Finding a place to call home is an important step in everyone's life and we want to help real estate agents make the experience better. With Nodalview, agents take control of all of their online marketing content in one place, generate more leads online with high quality visuals and a more efficient sales process through interactive immersive experiences”.
The company, which was founded in 2016, says it will use the fresh cash to recruit more than 35 people over the next months.
