Scottish startup SHE Software gets £7 million Series B to scale across North America and Australasia

SHE Software, a Scottish health and safety software company, has raised a £7 million Series B round led by Frog Capital, along with existing investors. Based in Glasgow, the SaaS company’s flagship product, Assure, allows employees and contractors to report health and safety information, on site or off site. The main benefits of the platform are that it reduces administrative load and also prevents incidents, which ultimately reduces claims and saves money. “Our customers are individuals who deal with complex and dispersed operations where the more traditional approach to managing health and safety is no longer adequate. We typically help customers produce ROI paybacks within 12 months by improving health and safety efficiencies and increasing engagement top-down, bottom-up,” said CEO Matthew Elson. The company was founded in 1995 and now serves 250 customers, 80 of which just joined last year. With the fresh funding, SHE plans to grow its team, which is also located in the US and New Zealand, and scale business operations across North America and Australasia.
