Squirro, a company based in Zurich, Switzerland that provides customer and business-related insight services, raised $10 million in a Series B financing round led by Orange Growth Capital. Salesforce Ventures and other investors were involved in raising the funds as well.
Squirro has developed cognitive search functions as well as insight technology to better manage information and data relating to a company's customers and services. The company works alongside insurance, manufacturing, financial, and other organizations that rely heavily on global data.
Squirro plans on using this investment to fund research and development initiatives in Zurich. The company also intends on expanding their reach internationally and continuing to cultivate a strong presence in North America and Europe.
