Swiss brand management startup Frontify raises $8.3 million

St Gallen-based platform for brand assets management Frontify has landed an $8.3 million funding round led by Blossom Capital. The company plans to use the capital injection to hire more engineers, open new offices, and launch an additional product for its platform.

Frontify's cloud platform, which starts at $29 a month, is there to make sure that every person in an organisation has access to the latest version of assets like brand portal, media library, pattern library, and style guides. Users can also collaborate internally and externally through a special tool, Workspace.

Currently, the company is active in the markets of the UK, Germany, Switzerland, and the US. In the future, it plans to focus on the American market and open new offices in Benelux, Northern Europe, Latin America, Spain, and France. The list of Frontify's customers includes Lufthansa, IBM, Allianz, Vodafone, and Deliveroo.

In addition to that, Frontify is about to launch a publishing tool that would allow customers to push updates into social and other channels.

“With this, Frontify will also be the “Canva” for brands,” said Frontify CEO Andreas Fischler. “And there are many more interesting things sprouting up in this product area. Just imagine the possibilities of automated content creation, based on structured brand and design data.”
