If you’ve been paying attention, you will know that Tech.eu has recently stepped on the gas pedal quite a bit as we ramp up operations for our small but ambitious digital media venture.
To accommodate our growth and realise our plans accordingly, we’re on the lookout for two new full-time members to complement our team as soon as possible.
More specifically, we’re recruiting a senior event manager and expanding our editorial / research team with a data-driven journalist and/or analyst. Both roles are full-time, and we’re flexible when it comes to location – we’re based in Brussels but we’re used to working remotely as we travel a lot ourselves.
Data-driven journalist / analyst
Data is at the heart of many of the things we do at Tech.eu, and it’s only going to become a bigger part of our offering. The European technology scene is screaming for more and better data to make sense of what’s happening continent-wide; for investors, corporates, startups, policymakers, analysts, journalists, event organisers and other professionals alike.
If you know how to analyse and visualise data, and use it to spot patterns and turn information into compelling stories and reports, we’d love to have a chat. Deep knowledge of (or at least a desire to learn more about) the European startup and VC landscape required.
Senior event manager
As an online publication, we’re different from everyone else. And, though moving into physical events is a natural next step for a company like ours to take, we like to approach things differently on this level as well.
To that end, we’d love to complement our team with an event management professional with at least 4 years of relevant experience within the European startup and investment scene.
The ideal candidate has hands-on operational experience in managing all aspects of the organisation of events, small to medium-sized, particularly with regards to venue and catering selection, logistics, speaker and attendee management, running a volunteering team and handling communication before, during and after events.
If you don’t fit into the above roles, feel free to contact us if you feel we should know about your skills and passions anyway. And, obviously, feel free to pass on the above opportunities to anyone you believe might make a great new member of our growing team.
