French recycling company 3Wayste has received a €6 million investment from Energipole.

3Wayste offers a patented, industrial waste-sorting technology that claims to have the means to recycle 80% of the public's garbage. The end product responds to the rising demand of the recycled raw material industry, as well as the need for more efficient ways to sort household waste.

With the funding, the company will secure its presence both in France and abroad, namely in Canada and Morocco, where licensing agreements are being negotiated with various local operators.

Founder Fabien Charreyre says 3Wayste is "the first technology in the world to be able to achieve such performance in tested industrial conditions."
