Israeli startup Intuition Robotics, which develops social companion technologies, has raised $6 million. The funding comes from iRobot Ventures and the equity crowdfunding platform OurCrowd. Intuition Robotics will open its U.S. Headquarters in Silicon Valley this year.

Intuition Robotics is developing social companion technology for older adults, that will help connect them with family and friends and promote a healthy lifestyle. The company's multidisciplinary team of experts is currently developing Elli•Q, the Active Aging Companion.
