French "connected cosmetics" startup, Feeligreen, has raised €3.5 million from undisclosed investors. The company had previously raised €1 million in 2014 from Innovacom and SEB Alliance.

Founded in 2012 by Christophe Bianchi, the startup develops dermo-innovation products combining microelectronics, chemistry, nanotechnologies and life sciences. The startup has developed connected devices with therapeutic and cosmetic applications that use microcurrents to safely distribute ingredients through the skin. For instance, their technology can help creams to diffuse deeper into the skin, enhancing their effectiveness.

Having established itself in France, Feeligreen plans to use the new capital to commercialize its products in the US and China.

"This new fundraising will allow us to accelerate our international expansion and double our turnover from the current fiscal year," says Bianchi, as reported by WebTimeMedias.com. "Through our partners, we aim to commercialize our products in China by the end of the year and in the United States by 2018."
