Y Combinator funded QR ordering app Orderli acquires mycapa.city for €1

Y Combinator-funded QR ordering app for restaurants and bars Orderli has acquired venue check-in app mycapa.city for a symbolic €1 Euro. More of a passing of the torch, moving forward, Orderli will maintain and develop the mycapa.city software.

At a time when the hospitality industry needed technology more than ever before, Thomas Vles & Farbod Saraf lep into action and got mycapa.city up and running in record time. Since day one, the goal of the service has been to help catering establishments make the best of government guidelines and safely achieve maximum occupancy. Within a few short months, the solution had attracted the attention of over 650 locations, checking in some 40,000+ guests.

“Thanks to this acquisition, we can help even more catering and people. Our team has worked hard on a wonderful platform and we are grateful that we have been able to help hundreds of businesses” commented Vles. “Orderli has a broader range of services that help the hospitality industry and are the ideal partner to develop our software further in the future.”
