Polish startup offering proprietary logistics processes management solutions Linker Cloud has raised €3.5 million in seed funding for the development of a fulfilment network dedicated to e-commerce companies operating throughout European markets.
The round saw the participation of ffVC Poland and Street Smart Capital from Finland. Previous backers, including Market One Capital and Kogito Ventures also participated. With the additional funds, the startup is looking to create a virtual bridge between the world of e-commerce brands and the logistics industry.
The platform provided by the company allows shipping and automation of comprehensive order handling processes. By joining the intelligent fulfilment network, the company's partners have a unique opportunity to become a part of a pan-European business platform that brings benefits to both logistics operators and e-commerce brands.
Daniel Kierdal, CEO of Linker Cloud said: “The e-commerce market is growing at a rapid pace, and cross-border for many brands is becoming the best possible strategy allowing for further business growth. Therefore, we decided to provide a fulfilment network, thanks to which D2C stores and brands will be able to launch sales in new countries faster, without worrying about logistics and operational issues - because that's exactly what our company and the solutions we provide are for.”
Stores cooperating with the platform can send the first parcels one week after the start of cooperation. The geographic area of the network covers virtually all of Europe, which means that in most cases, parcels will be delivered to the end consumer within 24 hours from the moment the order is placed.
