On the future of impactful investment - Nasdaq, Lightrock, and Angel Labs weigh in at the Tech.eu Summit 2022

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past oh, say, three to four months, you’re well aware that Tech.eu is hosting our very first Summit in Brussels next week. Brussels is one of the most accessible destinations in Europe and Tech.eu founder Robin Wauters lives in Brussels. Coincidence? I think not.

With an overarching theme of sustainable growth, not only am I personally MCing the Grow stage, but I’ve also managed to wrangle my way into hosting what I view will be one of the most interesting and insightful talks: Outlining a future for impactful investment strategies.

We’ve managed to convince Adam Kostyal, Head of European Listings at Nasdaq, Ash Puri, Partner at Lightrock, and Tugce Ergul, Founder at Angel Labs to sit under my microscope from 11:40 to 12:00 (CET) where I plan to gather their views on what the hell happened over the course of 2020 and 2021, and what the Q2 slowdown means in terms of market evolution. What are some of the funding and exit round trends they’re noticing from conversations with customers and partners, and are these trends sustainable? For both entrepreneurs and investors alike.

And with the word ‘impact’ included in the title, don’t think I’m going to shy away from that topic. I’ll be pressing Adam on how Nasdaq going to help their listed companies get from capitalism 101 to something sustainable over the course of the next 8 years? For Tugce, I want to know how she’s you incorporating all the "impact" stuff into Angel Labs’ offering? And for Ash and Lightrock, who sit conveniently in between, how does the firm handle the short-term pressure to perform versus the long-haul that impact investments tend to be.

While I tend to get terribly nervous about these things and way over-prepare, I hereby solemnly swear to reserve a portion of the mere 20 minutes we have to discuss this huge topic for audience questions. Because ultimately this session isn’t about what I want to know, but what you do.

We’ve still got a handful of tickets left, so if you want to hear more from this panel of true topic experts or any number of our impressive lineup, well, you know where to go.
