Paris-based Impact+ raises €2 million to expand its greenhouse gas emissions evaluation platform for digital advertisers

Paris-based sustainability tech start-up Impact+ is influencing the reduction of the carbon footprint in digital advertising through its platform which measures and evaluates the greenhouse gas emissions and electricity consumption of advertisers so they can make smart choices when running their campaigns.

The firm has raised €2 million in Seed funding round led by Elevation Capital Partners. Plans are to use funding to ‘build its subscription-based platform, extend its proprietary technology research and development team, and accelerate its international expansion’.

Impact+ names L’Oréal, LVMH, Heineken, BMW, P&G, Danone and Nestlé amongst its clients.

“Since its launch in 2020, Impact+ has repeatedly proven that our work greatly benefits the advertising industry and the environment. For too long, the digital ecosystem has turned a blind eye to its carbon footprint, some for lack of knowledge, others for lack of guidance. We want to bridge the gap between those who are doing the work and those who don’t know where to start. Our continuous business expansion is proving crucial to raise awareness and drive change in the industry, and we cannot thank our investors enough for their vote of confidence in us, and to help make our vision a reality,” says Vincent Villaret, CEO of Impact+.
