Berlin-based EMnify snags €8 million Series A for IoT security SaaS

EMnify, a German startup based in Berlin and Würzburg, announced its existing investors have funded an €8 million Series A round to help scale the company’s unique Internet of Things cloud technology.

EMnify provides a SaaS product that allows users to securely operate IoT data networks around the world. In fact, the company claims to be the first to develop a mobile core network infrastructure as a native cloud service. The technology is available in 180 countries, used by over 1,000 customers across various industries.

Frank Stöcker, CEO and co-founder of EMnify stated: "EMnify is experiencing very strong growth and with the fresh capital we want to accelerate this trend by taking the necessary investments to further expand our sales and marketing activities to execute our go-to-market strategy.”

The company has raised €20 million to date, with the newest round fueling a global rollout, including international sales and also integrations with tech giants such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Compute Engine.
