Delft-based smart office management software platform Mapiq has received a €10 million investment from Rinkelberg Capital, the investment office from the founders of TomTom. The capital is slated to further fuel Mapiq’s international expansion plans.
Founded in 2013 by Jasper Schuurmans and Sander Schutte, the Mapiq platform puts anything an employee needs, from reserving a parking space to spontaneously booking meeting rooms, all at their fingertips. In so much, companies gain insights into how their office space is being utilised and can further refine efficiency.
Addressing the elephant in the room here, Mapiq has been able to adjust to the call for hybrid working by developing functionalities that allow employees to book shifts in an office together. By setting a maximum capacity cap, firms are able to monitor and further optimise the use of their space.
Mapiq has demonstrated 200% revenue growth last year alone, and counts PwC, AkzoNobel, Deloitte, Heineken, KPMG, ENGIE, Unilever, and Microsoft amongst its client base.
“Now that companies and employees are reimagining the office and work life after the pandemic, Mapiq's technology offers the solution. Mapiq is indispensable for making offices efficient and attractive for employees. The potential is enormous; it is now time to take the next step, which is further expansion worldwide,” comments Rinkelberg Capital’s CEO Marc Slendebroek.
