Barcelona-based RocketROI, the scientific optimisation technology company for advertising campaigns in Google Adwords, Microsoft Bing and Amazon Advertising, has just raised €2 million in funding. The round was led by a private investor group, and complemented by European public funding.

RocketROI uses AI powered by machine learning and big data. The company was founded in mid-2014, and in 2016 managed advertising investments worth more than €15 million. More than 2,000 advertisers and agencies worldwide use the service to optimise their advertising investments in an easy, economical, and scaleable way. RocketROI is today one of Google’s leading distributors in Southern Europe and has recently expanded its solution for Google Doubleclick, Facebook and Instagram.

“Scientific optimisation technologies such as RocketROI have been almost inaccessible until now, and this exciting and encouraging news brings us to the next level of excellence,” commented one of the company’s founders, Ignacio Rodés, in a statement.

With the new funding, RocketROI plans to hire 20 more people in the coming months including software engineers, data scientists and business consultants. The company has operations in Spain, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia. In 2017, the company plants to expand its services in the rest of Latin America, USA and Canada.
