Czech/UK predictive analytics startup Runecast has raised a seed round of €1.6 million from Credo Ventures and Limerock Fund Manager.
The startup provides real-time monitoring and predictive analytics for VMware environments to enhance security and reduce any downtime. Customers include Verizon Wireless, FujiSoft, and the German Aerospace Center and it will use these new funds to expand its customer base.
“I am excited to bring on board some of the best investors our region can offer,” said Stanimir Markov, CEO of Runecast on the investment from Credo and Limerock, from Prague and Bratislava respectively.
“We will use the new investment primarily to expand our enterprise-level sales force and reseller network,” he added.
“Runecast is a superb technical team with global ambitions based in Central Europe,” commented Credo Ventures partner Andrej Kiska. “They have spent three years developing a game-changing product for all VMware customers worldwide.”
Previously the startup secured a €140,000 pre-seed investment and participated in the Opifer accelerator.
