Connecteam, the Tel Aviv-based all-in-one app for deskless employees has raised $37 million in a Series B round.
Led by Insight Partners, OG Tech, and the leadership team at Wix, the raise is expected to be used towards continued growth, particularly in the R&D department, improving the end-user experience, and scaling in localisation and language offerings.
“Running a business with non-desk employees is difficult, and when it comes to technological solutions, so many deskless industries are overlooked and underserved,” comments Insight Partners’ Jeff Horing. “Connecteam changes the way its customers run their business. In just a few minutes, companies can communicate digitally with their team and better manage their workforce, allowing them to operate more efficiently.”
Founded in 2016 by Amir Nehemia, Connecteam is a workforce management app that provides an all-in-one comms, engagement, and operations and training solution. They count 10,000 customers globally across 200 industries.
“So many organizations still rely on bulletin boards, phone calls, printed spreadsheets, and face-to-face training to run their businesses. We have plans to change that and help organizations and their employees improve communication, work processes, and collaboration,” comments CEO Amir Nehemia.
Needless to say, a global pandemic played right into Connecteam’s lap and the company saw a 400% increase in its customer base. Amongst this customer base, Connecteam counts Nike, Sodexo, SodaStream, ISS, and Plasson as clients.
