Tesla acquires German engineering powerhouse Grohmann to ramp up manufacturing

Electric car and energy storage system maker Tesla has acquired Prüm, Germany-based engineering company Grohmann for an undisclosed sum. (via TechCrunch)

This marks the formation of a 'Tesla Advanced Automation' unit in Germany; the company says it expects to add over 1,000 advanced engineering and skilled technician jobs in Germany over the next two years.
