German online lamp shop Lampenwelt.de has received a major investment of €120 million, coming from the venture capital firm 3i. The company says 3i will also provide a short-term loan of €54 million. The lamp shop generated sales of €61 million in 2016.
Israeli group shopping company Shopiz has raised a $2 million funding round led by Ron Zuckerman and other private investors. This is the company’s second financing round, and it has raised $3.5 million to date. The new funding wil be used to hire new staff and expand the company internationally.
French Artsper, an e-commerce platform dedicated to contemporary art, has raised €2 million euros from Frédéric Jousset, co-founder of Webhelp and owner of Beaux Arts magazine. The startup intends to use the funding to double its workforce and expand internationally.
Italian Adabra, a marketing automation platform, raised €1.1 million in funding from A11 Venture and other investors.
Dublin-based e-commerce company Clavis Insight has raised €8 million in funding from Draper Esprit.
Israeli-American fintech startup BlueVine has received $49 million from existing investors Lightspeed Venture Partners, Menlo Ventures, 83North, Citi Ventures, Rakuten FinTech Fund and Silicon Valley Bank.
German online lender Kreditech has raised $10.4 million from e-commerce giant Rakuten.
