Now that we've made our formal debut, just a note to let you know that you can find some of us at two major European tech conferences this month. If you're going too, we'd be very happy to meet you there.
Europe Venture Summit
This week, myself and tech.eu co-founder and contributing editor Alex Barrera will be attending and speaking at the inaugural Startup AddVenture event, put on by the folks behind Europe Venture Summit.
The conference takes place in Kiev, Ukraine on 4 and 5 December.
If you're attending, catch Alex speaking about startup and press relations at 17:30PM on the first day, followed immediately by a media panel discussion, featuring fine folks like Ben Rooney (The Wall Street Journal), Mike Butcher (TechCrunch), Mark Johnson (Zite / CNN) and more. Also, me.
Le Web Paris
I've been going to Le Web in Paris for many, many years, and 2013 is no different. Also attending the conference will be Alex Barrera (who seems to be following me around), and other tech.eu co-founders such as the indomitable Roxanne Varza and Jon Bradford.
There's a Student Warm-Up event put on by Silicon Students on Monday 9 December (the day before Le Web). I will be speaking there, and interviewing Tony Conrad (About.me, True Ventures) on stage.
This year, Le Web's topic is "The Next 10 Years". Fittingly, I will be grilling some people on the future of cloud computing on the second day of the Paris conference (Wednesday 11 December), at 09:40AM. The esteemed members of the panel are Amazon CTO Werner Vogels, Hightail CEO Brad Garlinghouse and Mark Shutterworth, the founder of Ubuntu.
In addition, all of us will be attending many side-events in Paris during the week of Le Web (including The Other Night, put on by Rude Baguette and TheFamily).
If you're going to be at any of the events above, come find us to say hi in person!
