French Azur Drones has raised €3.5 million. The investor was not disclosed, but said to be a "large French industrial family." The startup offers a drone-based video surveillance service called Azur Drones'Guard, among other services.
Azur Drones is a civilian drone maker specializing in data capture and processing services, consulting, training and monitoring.
The company says it has seen double-digit growth for four consecutive years, and hopes to grow at an even faster pace in 2017. The investment will allow the startup to accelerate its expansion geographically and carry out strategic acquisitions.
