German healthtech app Lifetime once again raises money after its last financing round a year ago, this time for €1 million. The investment comes from the medical firm Thieme and High-Tech Gründerfonds, with participation from some business angels.
With the LifeTime app, personal health information such as medical records, radiographs or prescription drugs can be transferred to the patient's smartphone. The app is encrypted and according to the startup data can only be accessed using a personal fingerprint or numeric code. According to the startup, 140 Hamburg doctors are now using the app.
