French foodtech startup Youmiam has raised €1 million from M6 and Maslow Capital Partners.
Youmiam is a food app that finds personalized recipes for its users. The app asks users a battery of questions: who they cook for - children or adults - and for how many people. It asks if you are vegan, vegetarian, or don't eat pork, if you have any allergies, and if there are any ingredients you don't like, and which kinds of plates you do. The app then creates a list of recipe recommendations from a wide range of users. It even allows you to create a shopping list based on the recipes you like.
With the investment, the app plans to work toward its goals of growing its community and boosting its native advertising.
