French Shadow raises €51 million Series A for its cloud-based computers

French startup Shadow, has raised a €51 million Series A round. Shadow is developing super-sleek computers based in the cloud, directed at primarily at gamers. The user's phones, laptops, and Shadow's device are all connected in the cloud to hundreds of servers that provide hyper-fast service and perfect HD images.

French startup Shadow, has raised a €51 million Series A round. The startup is developing super-sleek computers based in the cloud, directed at primarily at gamers. The user's phones, laptops, and Shadow's device are all connected in the cloud to hundreds of servers that provide hyper-fast service and perfect HD images.

The funding came from business angels, including Nick Suppipat, Pierre-Kosciusko Morizet and Michael Benabou. The same business angels contributed to a previous round of €13 million.

The startup has 3,500 users so far, and only accepts a certain number of new users every month. The service is currently only available in France.

The company plans to use the new funding to expand and accept more customers, as its been unable to meet the demand for its services so far.
