UK cloud firm Cloudreach has acquired US company Cloudamize, which specialises in cloud computing analytics and automation.
London-based Cloudreach, which was acquired by US investment firm Blackstone earlier this year, did not disclose the transaction amount. Based in Philadelphia, Cloudamize has raised over $2 million in funding.
The merged company will have a presence in North America and the UK and will invest in product development and an independent Cloudamize partner ecosystem.
Cloudamize’s products automate much of the scoping, configuring, and migration for cloud infrastructure.
“Combining Cloudamize’s industry leading cloud analytics and migration automation with Cloudreach’s expertise will make it easier for our customers to adopt cloud quickly, efficiently, and at scale,” said Pontus Noren, CEO of Cloudreach.
“Joining forces with Cloudreach accelerates the vision I had when I originally founded Cloudamize - empowering the enterprise with analytics and automation to simplify cloud decision making,” said Khushboo Shah, chairman of Cloudamize.
