Russian food and recipe delivery service Elementaree has raised $2 million from several private investors. Backers include the investment director of UFG Private Equity Ilya Ogay, the founder of the Abner investment fund Boris Zhilin, and senior vice president of Veeam Software Anton Antich.
Elementaree was founded in 2013 by graduates of the Harvard Business School Olga Zinovieva and Silard Buksha. The startup delivers ready-made grocery sets with recipes in Moscow and the surrounding region.
According to the company, the new funding will be used to improve its platform's technology, including the development of an algorithm to create personalised menus. The startup also plans to expand its production space and menu selection.
