UK-based hosting management platform Airsorted raises £2.1 million on Seedrs

UK-based Airsorted, a hosting management service for platforms such as Airbnb, has secured an additional £2.15 million in funding through a crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs. This comes after the startup raised £5 million in Series A funding in March, thus raising a total of over £7 million in funding so far this year.

Airsorted is a hosting platform that services bookings from travel websites including Airbnb, Expedia, Booking.com and HomeAway. The startup provides hosing services include listing creation with professional photography, key exchanges, maintenance and laundry, the restocking of household items, and 24/7 guest support. Airsorted has so far managed over £25 million in bookings since launching in 2015, and employs over 100 workers around the world.

“Raising an additional £2 million through crowdfunding alongside our £5 million Series A, will really help us realise our ambitions," said Airsorted founder and CEO, James Jenkins-Yates. "With Airbnb offering more than four million listings in over 190 countries, Airsorted can tap into a huge potential market and can create a hassle-free hosting experience globally. The level of support shown by this campaign highlights the belief investors have in our platform and also in our vision for the future.”

The new funds will primarily be used to accelerate Airsorted’s global expansion plans. The startup currently operates in 14 cities around the world, and now plans to expand into 38 new cities by the end of 2019. The funding will also enable the company to develop innovative technology for automating processes, including smart scheduling and automatic communication with guests.
