Dutch startup Get-E raises over €2 million to grow its global taxi service for business customers

Dutch company Get-E, which runs a tech-enabled transportation service for business travel, has raised 2.25 million from Amsterdam-based firm, Axivate Capital. The Hoofddorp-based startup allows business customers to book rides, whether to and from the airport or from point A to B, at more than nine hundred destinations in 140 countries. On the one hand, the service operates like other ride-hailing services, where a car is hailed and paid for via app. On the other hand, the service is much more bespoke: each client has an account manager who devises a specific solution to their ground transportation needs. So far users include companies such as Visa, Ryanair and CityJet. Airlines, for example, use the Dutch technology to arrange the complex logistics of crew transport. With the fresh funding, Get-E CEO and founder Alexander van Deudekom aims to grow the business through expanding to more destinations as well as developing integrations to other platforms.
