Automotive and dealership software solutions provider Imaweb has acquired Lyon-based preloved vehicle remarketing software maker Stampyt.
Founded in 2015, Stampyt uses AI-driven image tech that enables dealerships and OEMs to improve their second-hand vehicle sales via aftersale and remarketing activities. Adding to the industry standard photo and vehicle features, Stampyt’s offering allows dealers and OEMs to inspect vehicles and manage vehicle documents based on blockchain tech.
Moving beyond traditional stacks and stacks of paper, Stampyt is digitising the entire customer journey for dealerships and OEMs and is complementary to Imaweb’s existing offerings.
Stampyt CEO Alexandre Launay will continue to lead the company post-acquisition.
“We’ve been looking for the right partner to help accelerate our growth internationally and our shared vision meant Imaweb was the natural choice,” comments Launay.
“Stampyt’s technology is innovative and additive to our existing automotive software solutions. We believe that our continental scale combined with Stampyt’s product offering will accelerate the digitalisation of the entire customer journey for dealerships and OEMs across Europe,” adds Imaweb CEO Patrick Prajs.
