Italian startup producing IoT devices to purify the air, Vitesy has raised €2.6 million in funding. The bridge funding round saw the participation of Doorway and Fondo Rilancio Startup, managed by CDP Venture Capital and a pool of angel investors.

The fresh capital will enable the IoT startup to accelerate its commercial expansion and the roll out of its 3 new products. The startup had earlier last year raised €1.2 million.

Founded by Paolo Ganis, Alessio D'Andrea, and Vincenzo Vitiello, the platform is on a mission to create smart devices for air purification and its monitoring, with the combination of nature, nanomaterials, technology, and design.

The market for air treatment and purification systems is in constant development estimated at $33 billion globally by 2023. Another growing trend that the company is focusing on is the green and indoor plants market.

Tacking issues of air quality, green and big data, the startup recently launched its latest product on ecommerce called Eteria. A compact air purifier without filters to change with a sophisticated, widespread, and modular air quality monitoring system. Eteria joins the Vitesy ecosystem together with Natede Smart. The exclusive natural air purifier for indoor environments has already received €1 million in pre-orders in just 40 days.

Paolo Ganis, co-founder and CEO of Vitesy said: “This funding will help us to push our new products to market. It will also help us develop new partnerships in the coming months.”
