Czech digital platform for tenants and landlords Spaceflow has raised €8 million in funding. The funds will drive the startup’s product development and expansion in Scandinavia, the U.K., Benelux and the DACH region.
Leading the round is Swedish investment group Hydda. The partnership will make the startup an even stronger player in the tenant experience segment through integration into Hydda’s ecosystem. The Swedish investment group also aims to unveil European IPO with its whole property technology portfolio.
Launched by Lukas Balik and Jan Jilek, the Prague-based startup leverages the ‘Space as a Service’ (SPaaS) trend to connect users to their buildings with features focused on reservations, payments, community, events and services. Spaceflow also serves as a platform for IoT and other smart building integrations, such as mobile access systems.
Lukas Balik, co-founder and CEO of Spaceflow said: “Landlords must implement technology to fully unlock the potential of their portfolios and center everything around their end users. This collaboration with Hydda Group brings us deeper market knowledge and connections with other prop tech players.”
Philip Göransson, chief commercial officer at Hydda Group said: “Hydda aims to become Europe’s largest prop tech group. Spaceflow is our first investment outside Scandinavia and fits perfectly into Hydda’s ecosystem. The spaces we use for working and living need a smart and easy-to-use remote control.”
