Point Nine Capital rolls out €180 million fund to back SaaS and digital marketplaces

Belin-based venture fund Point Nine Capital has raised a new seed fund of €180 million to support B2B marketplaces and B2B SaaS startups. According to an official tweet from the company, this is the VC’s sixth fund.

With an average ticket size of €500,000-€5 million for seed-stage startups, the fund will focus on investing primarily in Europe, its home market. However, 20-30% of its investments will be based in the U.S., Canada, and Turkey.

The pan-European early-stage venture capital firm is focused on SaaS and digital marketplaces Point Nine’s first four funds were amongst the earliest seed investors in startups like Algolia, Brainly, Chainalysis, Contentful, Delivery Hero, DocPlanner, Loom, Mambu, Revolut, and Typeform.
