Helping e-commerce companies of all sizes ensure operational continuity through the timely detection of revenue-impacting issues, Antwerp-based Revend, has secured a new investment of € 1 million. The new capital will provide the startup with the ability to hire additional engineering talent as it gears up for commercialisation.
Revend’s € 1 million investment was led by Pitchdrive and saw the participation of Seederfund and angel investor Pieter Casneuf.
The best, and perhaps simplest, way to explain just what Revend does exactly is to think of it as a smoke detector for e-commerce. That is, the AI-powered solution is constantly monitoring overall business operations and sends up a red flag the minute it detects something seems ‘off’.
“With e-commerce taking an increasingly dominant share of consumers’ shopping habits, Revend’s solution can save online stores thousands of euros with a single alert,” explained Revend CTO Alex Reis.
CEO Peter Wellens further clarifies, “There is a wealth of operational data available to marketeers, but little time to keep track of it on a continuous basis. Revend does this for you, eliminating the need to stare at dashboards every hour or hire additional analysts in your team. This means ambitious marketeers can get a lot more done, at a lower cost.”
