Irish start-up Recruitroo rises €1 million as it simplifies the global hiring process for UK and Irish firms

Irish start-up Recruitroo is a recruitment and migration platform which simplifies the global hiring process for UK and Irish firms, by removing unnecessary barriers, giving companies access to talent worldwide. Primed to help reduce labour shortages in the construction, engineering, hospitality and healthcare industries, the platform uses AI and automation capabilities to process all documents and applications for employment permits and visas ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Founded in April 2022 by Shane Kiernan and Stephen MacCarthy the Dublin-based firm has just secured a €1 million investment round which was led by Delta Partners and includes Enterprise Ireland and some angel investors.

The team are also welcoming Andreea Wade as Chair of the Board - Wade's recruitment company Opening.io was acquired by ICIMS in 2020, and she is currently VP of Product Strategy at ICIMS.
