Finnish influencer platform Boksi targets DACH region after €7M raise

Finnish influencer marketing and content creation platform Boksi has just completed a €7 million Series A funding round, its first closing was in late 2022.

The round was led by 3TS Capital Partners in collaboration with Nexit Ventures and included existing investors Trind Ventures, Aikainen Ventures, Business Finland and some angel investors.

The fresh funding will further fuel Boksi’s move into the Central European market. It has already begun a move on the German market and will continue its focus there as it tackles the DACH region.

Founded in 2018 the company connects social media influencers and brands through its online platform where brands can order images, videos, and influencer marketing directly from creators. Earlier this year Boksi acquired the Finnish platform Monochrome to bolster its offering to creatives and brands.

"We’ve built a platform that improves the efficiency of working with the creator economy tremendously,” says Boksi CEO Lasse Laaksonen as he scopes out potential acquisition targets in Germany to fast-track Boksi’s growth in the region.

"With the influencer marketing landscape expanding rapidly, it's the technology-forward players, like Boksi, who have the competitive edge and are poised to dominate the market,” says Pekka Mäki, Managing Partner at 3TS Capital Partners.
