PLATMA, the first Extreme no-code platform that leverages artificial intelligence to convert natural language into functional code, announced it has raised $2 million in a pre-seed funding round. The company is now valued at $20 million.
Ukraine-founded startup PLATMA empowers users without programming skills to design complex business processes simply by describing them in plain English. The platform leverages advanced natural language processing (NLP) algorithms and AI to convert user requests into fully functional, ready-to-use solutions.
The company is headquartered in the USA, with a team distributed across Ukraine, Cyprus, Portugal, and Kazakhstan.
The platform boasts over 10,000 registered users, with several thousand applications already created. PLATMA's clients include companies from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Slovenia, and various other countries.
The funding was led by $500,000 investment each from Almaz Capital and EA Group. Additional funding came from a diverse group of investors, including Startup Wise Guys (Estonia), CAUCASUS VC (Azerbaijan), and prominent Kazakh venture capital firms like Tumar Venture Fund, MOST Ventures, and ACTIVAT VC. Business angel Murat Abdrakhmanov also participated in the round.
"At PLATMA, our mission is to make digital transformation accessible to every business. Our solutions enable companies of all sizes to automate processes without complexity.
This is crucial for micro and small businesses, which represent 90 per cent of companies worldwide and often struggle with routine tasks and poor digitalisation.
Imagine if these businesses could free up 70 per cent of their time and focus it on growth — it would be a revolution. We believe our tools will help make that possible and unlock new opportunities for entrepreneurs," shared Yaroslav Kologryvov, Co-Founder of PLATMA.
Erik Aubakirov, CEO of EA Group investment holding, shared:
“We are happy to collaborate with the PLATMA team! Their solutions will help small and medium-sized businesses worldwide optimise processes and save thousands of dollars on development costs."
PLATMA's advisory board features Christoph Daszkiewicz, a leading expert in the No/Low Code field and the Head of Software at Schneider Electric.
The funds raised will be used to enhance the technology further, expand the team, and enter new markets.
