Swedish health care startup Min Doktor ("My Doctor") has raised €4.7 million. The new funding comes primarily from existing investors including EQT Ventures and Christian W. Jansson.
The Malmö-based startup offers an app that allows for online doctor's visits where patients can communicate with doctors through messages, phone, or video. Doctors can give a diagnosis, and send prescriptions directly via mobile.
Min Doktor also announced this week that the company's CEO Charlotta Tönsgård has been forced to step down as the shareholders look for a new person to lead the company's growth.
