Welcome to Startup The Fusion, one of the most vibrant, up-and-coming startup events in Spain.
The two-day event, held last week, was organized by Kayvan Nikjou and his team at SiliconKarne.
Nikjou, a Finnish expat living in Madrid, has taken the Spanish startup ecosystem by storm. Last year, he started one of the few English-speaking technology blogs covering Spain's startup and tech scene.
Less than a year later, Nikjou also started one of the most interesting startup conferences in the country. With deep ties to Scandinavia, the conference saw an impressive display of speakers from international tech players, such as Rovio, F-Secure, Twitter, Slush, Airbnb and BlaBlaCar. The local speaker lineup also saw several top VCs and entrepreneurs in attendance.
If you missed out on the event, here are some snapshots to get a taste of the conference for yourself:
Badge, hat and a good dose of caffeine to start the day with energy.
