Talent Garden secures €44 million to expand its network of innovation campuses across Europe

Italy-born Talent Garden has raised a €44 million round of financing from TIP, Social Capital, Indaco Ventures and primarily European family offices to expand its network of co-working and education campuses across Europe - and beyond.

The last time the company announced funding was a €12 million round back in November 2016.

Banking on digital innovation happening outside of the US as well as outside of mature ecosystems like London, Berlin and Paris, Talent Garden's plan is to kickstart and support communities in Spain, Italy, Austria, and across the Nordics and the CEE, among other regions. The company says it is also working on a 'special campus project' in San Francisco, which it projects to open in 2020.

Currently, Talent Garden says it is working to open 20 new international co-working campuses over the next 5 years and expand the scope of its 'Innovation School' in digital training and big summit organisation. That would nearly double the amount of campuses the Italian company operates today, and it is open to working with partners to get it done.

In 2018, for instance, Talent Garden opened a new campus in Dublin as part of a strategic partnership with Dublin City University, and it has also created a joint venture with Rainmaking Loft in Denmark.
