French pharmacies have been digitising their comms with suppliers thanks to Faks’ platform. The Paris-based med-tech has been assisting pharmacies with after-sales operations, keeping all the comms with their suppliers in one place.
Surprisingly, the systems between pharmacies and suppliers has been slow to adopt digital transformation leading to piles of admin work. The Faks founders Corentin Geoffray, Clément Goupy, and Félix Pignard, felt it was time pharmacists got back to doing what they do best, dishing out the (prescription) drugs!
All promotions, claims, or expired products management can now be handled through the Faks platform.
Rolled out in France with a considerable share of the market the SaaS solution is ready to ‘conquer Europe’ thanks to a €5 million funding round from Connect Ventures, Seedcamp and Cocoa Ventures.
"Faks is a great example of taking a product-led approach to transforming how an industry operates. They’ve combined a compelling workflow product with powerful network effects to build an impressive leading position in the market, with 60% of French pharmacies already onboarded and more joining every day. The incredible traction reflects a team that is both highly strategic and excellent at execution, a powerful combination,” says Sitar Teli, Partner of Connect Ventures.
Three years in and Faks claims it’s now the leader in the French market. Its network includes 12,000 partner pharmacies, 118 pharmacy associations, and more than 700 pharmaceutical companies, including Biogaran, Biocodex, and Bouchara.
"This funding round is decisive to further consolidate our leadership position in the French market and the starting point for our internationalisation. After having partnered up with 60% of French pharmacies, we are convinced that our solution can profoundly transform the business of pharmacy professionals throughout Europe,” says Corentin Geoffray and Clément Goupy, co-founders of Faks.
