Turkish startup Paket Mutfak raises $2.7M for cloud kitchen software expansion

Turkish cloud kitchen software startup Paket Mutfak has raised  $2.7 million, bringing its funding to $8.5 million.

Paket Mutfak is a local cloud kitchen network that offers hearty and delicious meals to its customers quickly, using menus specially developed for takeaway service.

It currently serves different regions of Istanbul, has 15 active branches, offers 10 food brands, and delivers over 130,000 monthly meals.

Paket Mutfak is moving forward to establish  Türkiye's largest cloud kitchen network.

According to Paket Mutfak co-founder and CEO Tali Şalhon:

“Takeaway has been in our lives for years, but it is not efficient or developed. We are changing that by delivering good quality food at scale.

This investment is an important milestone for us to accelerate our growth and take firm steps towards our goals. We are very excited about the years ahead.’

Existing shareholders such as Fırat İşbecer, Nokta Investment Holding, Ünlü & Co GSYF, Ersan Öztürk and İbrahim Romano rejoined the investment round, which includes new angel investors such as Eren Bahadır, İzzet Nommaz and Ömer Üstünel.

With the latest investment, the initiative has taken an important step towards reaching 100 branches. The funding will strengthen the company's technological infrastructure, and help it expand its branch network, and improve customer experience.

It plans to continue its growth by expanding its product range and focusing on new revenue sources.
