GeoQuant, a data and political science startup based in Israel and New York City, has raised $4 million in seed funding. The investment comes from the Tel-Aviv-based VC firm Aleph, and XL Innovate, based in Silicon Valley. As part of the deal Michael Eisenberg from Aleph VC and Martha Notaras from XL Innovate will join GeoQuant’s board.
French company Travelaer designs and builds solutions for the travel industry to improve customer experience. It has just raised a €4.3 million round led by Entrepreneur Venture, with participation from Pléiade Venture, and including previous investors Calypso Capital and Alderville.

The German startup Bexio, a provider of cloud-based software for SMEs, has raised €7 million. The funding comes from Swisscom Ventures and existing investors Redalpine Venture Partners AG and Armada Investment AG.
Israeli Earnix, which provides predictive analytics software for the financial services industry, has raised $13.5 million. The investment comes from Jerusalem Venture Partners, Vintage Investment Partners and Israel Growth Partners. Haim Shani, general partner of IGP, was named a director of Earnix.
