Running over June 2nd and 3rd, the biggest tech careers event in Europe is expected to attract 1500 tech pros, 60 companies, and 30 speakers to the beautiful, historic city of Lisbon in Portugal. Among the most highly anticipated speakers are Tom McAdam (Engineering Manager at Google), Aral Balkan (Founder of Ind.ie), and Joel Gascoigne (Co-founder and CEO of Buffer).
Several internationally respected speakers at Landing.careers Festival will be covering fascinating subjects such as robotics, blockchain and remote work. The event will be organized in three distinct sections, each covering important aspects of the European tech careers industry. These elements are designated as Future (VR, AI, Gaming), Tech (Deep web, Terminal), and Careers (culture, remote, mentorship).
Landing.careers Festival also promises fun – like a boat ride on the Tagus river – and lots of opportunities to connect with your peers, including the engineering teams of companies such as Trivago, Farfetch, Microsoft UK and many more.
In fact, it is expected that many of the top European tech companies currently looking to recruit new, quality professionals will turn out in numbers.
Pedro Oliveira, Landing.jobs co-founder, stated that this would be “an unique opportunity for tech professionals to get their career moving in the direction that most interests and excites them”. He also stressed that the event is completely free for attendees to join, with a premium ticket option available as well.
