Berlin-based social app Jodel has received €6 million from investors in Silicon Valley. The backers include Adam di Angelo, Facebook’s first CTO and founder of Quora, and the Floodgate Fund, with participation from the Global Founders Network, Rubylight, and Atlantic Internet.

Amsterdam’s EV-Box, a supplier of electric vehicle charge points, has been acquired by French electric utility company ENGIE. Swedish Telia buys public transit startup FältCom
Swedish company Telia has purchased FältCom, a Umeå-based startup. FältCom has been active in the Nordic market for online public transport. It is the market leader in Scandinavia for mobile platforms on buses, and all speed cameras in Sweden are equipped with FältCom technology. The company has about 40 employees and had sales in 2016 of €8.8 million.
German superfood e-commerce platform Nu3 raises multi-million round
The German foodtech startup Nu3, an ecommerce platform specializing in superfood and dietary supplements, reports that it took in a high-seven figure sum from several investors. The investors are unknown, however previous investors in the company include Lake Star, Project A and Black River Ventures.
The CEO of Bestseller acquires Miinto, another Danish online fashion retailer
Anders Holch Povlsen, the sole owner of Danish online retailer Bestseller, has invested a double-digit million-euro sum in Miinto Group, a Danish platform that hosts 20,000 brands on one online platform.
